In the period 1880-1946 forest stewardship as well as the forestry management planning office operated in the village. Excavations and restorations of the castle started between 1934-36-because of is substantial historical, architectural and archaeological values. After a long interval break work started again in 1977, and from the mid 1990s it continued with renewed vigor. The country house was built in 1789, and was restored to represent the Füzér‘s peasant tradition for construction, housing and culture of instrument. The equipment represents the small holder‘s life at the beginning of the 20th century.
